I hope you don’t mind me posting, I’m sorry to say I didn’t know Alex but am watching his inspiring story on BBC3. I just wanted to say how inspired I am, not only by Alex’s incredible attitude, but by all his family and friends who showed such strength, positivity and devotion. What an amazing bunch of people you are. Wishing you all every success and happiness in the future, with your wonderful memories of a wonderful young man.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Alex Lewis.
Alex passed away on the 17th of February after a four year battle with osteosarcoma. We invite all of Alex's friends and family to share their memories of Alex with us all by posting photos, videos or written memories to this website, to help us all remember the times we had with Alex, and the joy that he brought to our lives.
We would all love to hear any special memories you have to go with photos, and we are currently trying to collect as much film footage of Alex as possible, so if you have any footage to post here it would be very much appreciated.
We will also be using this site to highlight the events and activities planned by so many of you in order to raise money for the Bone Cancer Research Trust in Alex's name.
I have also just watched the programme on BBC3, and just want to say what an amazing, inspirational guy Alex was!! And what great friends and family he has.
I still have tears rolling down my face xx
I just wanted to agree with everything the previous posters have said. I have just signed up to the BBC to leave a comment – something I would usually never do. I was just so inspired by Alex and all of you his lovely family and friends for your positivity. Thank you also for letting us in to your lives like that. Alex is looking down on you and smiling. Ali – you are actually a tower of strength, you looked so beautiful and happy on your wedding day, thank you for letting us see that.
I will certainly not forget this lovely man and I feel quite priviliged to have been able to have seen a small slice of Alex’s infectious and lovely personality.
Many thanks
Louise (Belfast)
