I didnot know Alex but watched the film Alex A Life Fast Forward the other night. I cannot get over his courage and spirit and that of those around him. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all and allowing us to be inspired by this brave and beautiful man’s story. My mother died of cancer when I was a child and she too was much loved and her memory has lived on as Alex’s will. It is the quality of the man that will live on. I will urge all I know to watch on iplayer and contribute to the Trust so we can beat this cruel disease once and for all. With all my love and thanks Susan Edwards

This site is dedicated to the memory of Alex Lewis.
Alex passed away on the 17th of February after a four year battle with osteosarcoma. We invite all of Alex's friends and family to share their memories of Alex with us all by posting photos, videos or written memories to this website, to help us all remember the times we had with Alex, and the joy that he brought to our lives.
We would all love to hear any special memories you have to go with photos, and we are currently trying to collect as much film footage of Alex as possible, so if you have any footage to post here it would be very much appreciated.
We will also be using this site to highlight the events and activities planned by so many of you in order to raise money for the Bone Cancer Research Trust in Alex's name.
I watched Alex’s programme the other night, I sat downstairs on my own and cried my eyes out! What an amazing person he was and also what amazing family/friends he had! Not once did anybody in the whole programme moan or was bitter! They just got on with it!
Alex and Ali’s story has really stuck in my mind, what a brave couple! When the programme finished I went upstairs to bed and my 3 year old son and partner were sound asleep in our bed, I layed there for about an hour thinking about Alex’s story and still two days on I am still thinking about it!It has made me feel so grateful for what I have!I hope where ever Alex is now he is happy and out of pain!!!What a special person!!!
